Functional Hormone Testing
Don't Guess.  Test!!

Testing hormone levels saves time and money in the long run.

It allows for more specific, personalised and therefore effective treatment recommendations and the implementation of the correct healing protocols.

Hopefully you have already completed the hormone quiz.  I highly recommend completing this in depth quiz as a first step as it will help you to identify which may be the best hormone test for you.  Get the Hormone quiz here

Here is a list of hormone test I find the most effective in helping women transition midlife and/or the changes during  perimenopause, menopause and post menopause.

Cortisol Awakening Response/Stress Hormone Check:
Recommended if you scored 6 and above in Part A &/or Part B on the hormone  quiz.  Also if you experience any of the following:  ongoing stress or a significant increase of stress, feel tired &/or demotivated in the mornings, heavily rely on caffeine to wake you up and get going, problems with your sleep, get a 2nd burst of energy in the evening.  Click here for more details on cortisol and stress testing

Female Hormone Check (Saliva):
Recommended if you scored 6 or over on any of the following Parts of the hormone quiz Part D, E, F, or G.  And/or you are over 40 and experiencing any changes in your menstrual cycle, mood, energy, sleep, brain fog, aches and pains, libido, vaginal dryness etc.  If you think you may be experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause, menopause post menopause.  Click here for more details on Female Hormone Check

Comprehensive Thyroid Check:
You scored 6 or over on section H of the hormone quiz.  You feel like you experience symptoms of low thyroid but you've been told by your Dr that your thyroid is fine (based on the test they did).  Generally speaking Medical doctors only test 1-2 of the 6 thyroid markers.  It's possible to experience a low thyroid function even if only 1 of these 6 markers is even slightly out of the optimal range.  I've seen many times once the thyroid is tested correctly women are finally diagnosed with a thyroid problem.  Unfortunately, this can go undiagnosed for 10 years or more before it finally shows up in the 1 test your dr will run.   Click here for more details on thyroid testing
